HOW WE WORK

Recruiting is process-driven work, like any other. And like any other, the success of that process is often determined by the values behind the work.

Our process is built on years of experience. It is what we do.

Our values are likewise drawn from our experiences - in work and in life. They are who we are.

  • WEEK ONE

    A successful recruiting process begins with a thorough client interview - learning every detail about the open position or positions. Why is the job open? Is it a new job or a backfill? What is the size of the team, and, critically, what is the team and company culture like? Remote position? Even better - let’s talk about how your team functions remotely and how you create engagement.

    The Search Begins

    Now that we know the job inside and out, let’s begin the search…by any means necessary. Online sourcing, advanced AI, events, and an extensive, nationwide network we’ve cultivated over two-decades in the industry.


    Introductions

    Active candidates, passive candidates, referrals, etc. - on average, every week we may contact and/or speak to 100 job seekers and potential candidates for your job. We’ll vet the candidate for skill set, experience, communication and soft skills, and their own motivations, relative to what we’ve learned about your company, your culture, and the needs of the team. Do they know your industry? Will they be a good fit for your team culturally? This is as important for our candidates as it is for our clients.

    WEEK TWO

    Submissions

    Now it’s time to begin submitting great candidates and scheduling interviews. Selected candidates are prepped for the interview process, and final pre-interview questions are answered.

    Interviews and Pre-Offer

    Communication with clients and candidates is open throughout the process. Feedback is the key here. Let’s get it right.

    We will conduct reference checks as a precursor to extending offers.

    WEEK THREE

    Offers

    When it’s time to make offers, we will deliver verbal offers to selected candidates, and manage communication with candidates who will not move forward. Once the candidate has given a verbal acceptance, our clients can proceed with a formal offer letter and onboarding.

    FOLLOW THROUGH

    To Be a Leader, Be a Servant

    For the new hire, our job doesn’t end once their new job begins. We’re available to help you make the transition to your new job: how do I approach turning in my notice to my employer? I’m in a new city - how do I get acclimated? For these questions and any others, we will make ourselves available to be an asset, in partnership with your new employer and HR team.

  • Communication + Availability

    For clients and candidates, the search will suffer without open and consistent communication.

    Empathy

    Our job is to help make your job search one of the less difficult parts. Finding a new job, or the right team member to move your business - your blood, sweat, tears and dreams - forward is not easy, but it doesn’t have to be a burden you carry alone.

    Transparency

    The best part of this job is delivering the “congratulations, you start in 2 weeks”, and celebrating with the hiring manager or HR team.

    The worst is letting someone know they won’t be receiving an offer for the job they were excited about.

    Our commitment is to deliver the good news and the bad news with the care they deserve.

    Creativity

    There’s always an opportunity to learn and do it better. Let’s follow the process, but always keep our eyes open for an edge.

    Skin In The Game

    We want to be a partner, not a vendor. We’ll do whatever is necessary to finish the job, and do it right. Travel to events or for in-office visits, late night work or calls, whatever it takes. Sacrifice breeds success. We’ll be the evangelist for your open job or your job search.
